The Euclid / St. Paul Neighborhood was orange groves from 1912-1925, just prior to and around the time of its early development. The neighborhood developed on the east from 9th Street North (formerly Euclid Boulevard) westward to 16th Street North, and from 13th and 14th Avenues northward toward 22nd Avenue. The entrance to the area was historically, and is again today, flanked by two brick columns. The largest homes in the neighborhood, situated on the community's largest lots are located on 13th, 14th, and 15th Avenues North.

The neighborhood is approximately 1-1/2 miles from Downtown St. Petersburg, the Central Avenue Business District, and Baywalk. It is one mile or less from 2 major medical facilities, St. Anthony's Hospital and Edward White Memorial Hospital.

Within a mile there are several City parks and recreational facilities which offer both passive recreation as well as active recreation such as ball fields and tennis courts. In addition, the nearby St. Anthony's Park on the grounds of the St. Anthony's hospital is available for use by the public.

There is a great diversity of home styles in Euclid / St. Paul. Home styles include Mediterranean Revival, Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, Minimal Traditional, American Bungalow, Praire, and both Masonry and Frame Vernacular. The homes and lots sizes in the western section of the neighborhood are more modest in scale and consistent in style. The northeastern section of the neighborhood has the largest number of duplex, triplex, and small apartment buildings. Many homes have garage apartments which are accessible from the alley.

The neighborhood association was reformed and resurrected approximately 5 years ago. The association has several active committees to prepare the newsletter, and to assist with the preparation of the Neighborhood Plan. Various special committee projects, such as recognizing the Home of the Month, and placing neighborhood identification monuments are part of the neighborhood's accomplishments. Euclid/St. Paul's Neighborhood Association was granted funds in 2001 through the Neighborhood Partnership Grant Program to develop a neighborhood plan with the assistance of consultants.

Euclid / St. Paul Neighborhood Boundaries are 22nd Avenue N on the north, 9th Avenue North on the South, Martin Luther King Street North on the east, and 16th Street North on the West.
